  • THANK YOU! Hurricane Helene Relief

I would like to say THANK YOU to our chapter for your support in collecting/ spreading the word about donation items for victims of Hurricane Helene. To help spread the word of this donation effort, the Beta Phi Chapter received assistance from UAH's Student Government Association. Additionally, our partnership with Rocket City CrossFit has made this drive possible with their ability to transfer all of these donations to North Carolina!
I have attached pictures of everything to be delivered! (Every square inch of my car was filled - luckily the kind crossfit members helped me unload it as part of their workout).
Thank you again for your help! Every item will make a difference!

  • What have we been up to?

    Good afternoon, Beta Phi,

We had a great turnout yesterday, hosting a table at UAH CON - UAH at a glance meeting future nurse leaders!

We spoke with many families and future students about our Honor Society! Students were excited to hear about networking opportunities, scholarship potentials, research ideas, and other opportunities we, as a chapter, provide to pursue nursing excellence.

  • Hurricane Helene Donation Drive

    Hello Beta Phi members

I am sure everyone knows about Hurricane Helene and the millions of Americans who have been affected. Initially, we were unaware of the devastation of those affected by Hurricane Helene. Still, as time passes, we hear more reports of people without basic necessities. The Beta Phi Chapter is leading the effort to support those suffering. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, is integral to our relief efforts and can make a significant difference. To show support, we encourage everyone to donate to trusted organizations on the front lines or donate supplies to those who have lost everything.

Sigma will be leading the charge for collecting donations. Boxes will be at the first floor CON entrance from 10/7 until 10/17. The flyer attached includes the items needed!

I have listed below multiple trusted organizations that support relief efforts.

    ·      https://www.sendrelief.org/projects/hurricane-helene/

    ·      https://showerup.org/huntsville/

    ·      https://farmcafe.org/donate

Thank you again for taking the time to read this, and I encourage you to help however you can. If you cannot give, please help Sigma share this information so we, as a community, can show support to those affected.
